Light Play on the veranda

This is a 48x36" oil on canvas, done from a couple of reference photos- I did most of it outdoors during the 16 day Piccolo Spoleto art exhibition. A view from a window in Wilmington, NC.

Towards Port

A 24x30" oil on canvas of a sailing ship. I darkened the sea and horizon line to push color and give it the backlit effect.
